Achavaddy

Ach a’Mhadaidh means the field of the wolf. Today (2024) it is deserted, only stones walls and the remains of houses can be seen. In 1855-56 the tenant was Drover John Cameron (Corriechoille) who had taken it over from his relation Drover Alexander MacArthur who went bankrupt in 1844.
