About Us

Our group was formed in 2020 to meet a long recognised need for a constituted body of enthusiasts with a common interest in researching, preserving and promoting the incredibly rich history, language and culture of our own very special area. i.e. the Braes of Lochaber and the immediate vicinity which was for centuries the clan territory of the MacDonells of Keppoch.

Membership is open to all with an interest in the heritage of Brae Lochaber.

A public AGM is held each Spring in Roy Bridge to elect a management committee.

Further to this ordinary members can be co-opted to join working groups

Business meetings are organised as required.
